Rdale's high schools celebrate National Voter Registration Day with student sign-up events

Robbinsdale Area Schools (Rdale) hosted successful voter registration events at its high schools as part of National Voter Registration Day on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024. These events aimed to encourage eligible students to register to vote and actively participate in the upcoming elections.

At Armstrong High School (AHS) and Cooper High School (CHS), representatives from the League of Women Voters were on hand during lunch periods to provide information and assist students with voter registration. Students at Robbinsdale Academy-Highview and Robbinsdale Virtual Academy (RVA) had the opportunity to participate in a live virtual session hosted by the Minnesota Secretary of State's office, where they received guidance on the registration process and the importance of voting.

Superintendent Dr. Teri Staloch attended the in-person events at both AHS and CHS, interacting with students and emphasizing the critical role they play in shaping the future through voting.
