Pop-Up Events Bring the Survey to the Community
With formal staff and community meetings now complete, our team hit the streets this week to connect directly with families and community members at local gathering spots. These informal pop-up events help us meet people where they are and encourage one last wave of survey participation as the May 4 deadline approaches.
📍 Community Pop-Up Events:
✔ April 16 – Cub Foods (Brooklyn Park)
✔ April 17 – Cub Foods (Crystal)
✔ April 18 – Pub 42 (New Hope)
💬 A word from Superintendent Dr. Teri Staloch: "Whether it’s at a school or a supermarket, every voice matters. These face-to-face conversations remind us how deeply our community cares about the future of Rdale."
📆 Looking Ahead: Vision Team Gathers Again
📍 Next Vision 2030 Team Meeting:
✔ April 30 – FAIR School Crystal
The team will dive deeper into safety and security, standard operating procedures, and take a long look at academic visioning and programs.
Two Distinct but Interconnected Efforts
Robbinsdale Area Schools is engaged in two parallel—but connected—efforts:
🔹 Budget deficit and stabilization: The district must cut $21 million for the 2025-26 school year to restore financial stability.
🔹 Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030: A long-term planning initiative to create a strong, sustainable, and competitive future for our district.
💬 Dr. Staloch: “The best plans for the future are grounded in truth and shaped by community. That’s exactly what we’re doing with Vision 2030.”
